WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a talented Thermal Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our Design Engineering team. We are looking for someone with strong CAD design skills and leadership. This role will report to Director of Product Development and will be integral to innovative product delivery for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design of modular components, used in Direct Liquid Cooling products, from a technical perspective while ensuring adherence to product development processes and project schedules.
• Manage team workload, prioritize, and delegate tasks while bringing a focus to technical knowledge base development, career growth, and performance management of the team members.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with key industry partners and critical component suppliers to forge a culture of continuous improvement and best-in-class technology.
• Create and manage plans for department budgets, organizational team growth and project execution roadmaps.
• Engage in internal initiatives in conjunction with other departments around continuous improvement, process development, and advanced technology.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 7 years experience
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or similar Engineering disciplines (Master’s or PhD is preferred)
• Experience in a similar technical field (thermal mechanical engineering, electronics cooling) with time spent as a team leader or manager.
• Skilled in mechanical design with a strong understanding of thermal design and fluid dynamics concepts and experience with high volume production for industrial products.
• Possess P.Eng designation or similar professional credentials.
