Gynion is a Women’s Health startup with a mission to offer millions of women worldwide safe, effective, and affordable in-office therapies helping to avoid unnecessary hysterectomies and improve and save lives. Our first product is MenorrxTM treatment for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding (HMB). Menorrx is a safe and effective endometrial ablation therapy that is simpler, easier to use, and costs a fraction of the available alternatives. It addresses a need for a quick and cost-effective HMB therapy that gynecologists can easily and safely perform in an office setting and avoid unnecessary surgeries for millions of women. This noninvasive treatment presents a substantial opportunity both in developed markets and in low- and middle-income countries, where women commonly receive no treatment at all or undergo a hysterectomy. The preclinical results demonstrate safety and show a lot of promise for high effectiveness. Gynion is a platform technology. Our second product CinablexTM is intended for the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer. With cervical cancer rates on the rise globally, this low-cost non-invasive treatment could be offered in the early CIN stages and potentially reverse this trend.
