Job Summary
This position is in Radnor, PA and it is located approximately 13 miles west of Philadelphia, in the Main Line suburbs. The office is strategically positioned near the Blue Route (I-476) and the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) for a convenient vehicle commute. With an exclusive shuttle service offered on property, the office offers close proximity to public transportation to stations for SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Line and Norristown High Speed Line. Radnor and its nearby communities offer shopping, entertainment, and award-winning restaurants.
The Director of Investor Relations and Communications will broaden and enhance shareholder value and the organization’s financial image through an excellent investor and shareholder communications program. Additionally, this role will also be accountable for developing organizational infrastructure for communications and building and leading processes for internal reviews including but not limited to compliance, legal, business partners etc. This role develops long-term plans and strategies for internal and external stakeholders and works with subordinate team members to operationalize and execute these strategies.
This position’s primary operating objective of the IR program is to educate and update investors about the company to achieve a fair relative stock value. This role will support the Vice President of Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions and Treasurer in developing a strong investment case for Triumph and communicating our strategic vision, competitive position, and financial milestones effectively across all of communication channels. Furthermore, this role will develop communications initiatives that are relevant for a range of audiences (customers, prospects, employees, press, investors, influencers, thought leaders) to drive engagement, brand (internal and external), and expand reach and visibility.
This position is a thought partner to the senior leadership team at Triumph, who will continually strive to advance the Triumph story. The individual in this role, must develop a deep understanding of the Company’s business model, strategy, and performance to ensure clarity and alignment of strategic and financial messaging. A natural inclination towards partnership and collaboration is essential to success in this position.
Responsibilities
Supports the global investor relations program, including strategy (linked to the company’s strategy), operating plan, budget, and the detailed execution of the IR operating plan.
Heads strategic (integrated) communication (for all constituents – customers, investors, employees, suppliers, regulators, communities, et al).
Spearhead preparations for the quarterly earnings call, including development of news releases, prepared remarks, Q&A, supplementary materials.
Ensure consistency of disclosures in public filings, website materials by thorough and proactive review.
Lead the process for preparing for materials used in investor conferences and supervise logistics of corporate access.
Collaborate closely with finance, business leaders and legal to gather data, interpret business reports, synthesize results and major developments.

Completes end-to-end assessment of all external facing communications, identifying opportunities for consistent content, presentation, and style while focusing on our value proposition.
Regularly monitor street consensus and identify variances on a timely basis.
Ensure consistency between inward and outward facing communications.
Identify trends that influence investor sentiment, including but not limited to, market share trends, supply chain conditions, macro-economic factors.
Develop and execute the company’s engagement plan and track progress towards key milestones.
Collaborate with capital markets specialists in identifying investor interest, monitoring changes in the company’s shareholder base and market conditions.
Conduct regular analytics to focus IR engagement efforts on activities that will achieve the department’s strategic objectives.

Stay on top of relevant developments in the sector during earnings/ conference season.
Ensure timely responses to investor inquiries and requests.
Support preparations for the annual general meeting and review of the proxy statement.
Collaborate cross functionally to support media outreach, leadership communications, crisis management.
Leads the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback to the company of investors’ perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis.
Collaborates with CFO and VP, Investor Relations to support relations with debtholders, credit analysts, and rating agencies.
Supports selection, education, tasking, and supervision of outside consultants and service providers for IR and Strategic Communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
- 10+ years of business experience required; preferably in accounting/finance and/or 5+ years’ experience in managing an investor relations/communication department
- Preferred experience within Aerospace and Defense industry
- Masters or advanced degree preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on a continual and on-going basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated financial literacy and deep understanding of financial markets and models.
Experience in press release distribution, webcasting, maintaining investor relations websites.
In-depth understanding of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, advertising, and the media.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to interface at all levels, both internally & externally
Must possess the ability to understand the technical nature of the business and communicate the importance to the investment community.
Excellent written & oral communication with experience in delivering communications in written, web, and other mediums to multiple locations.
Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text.
