Job Summary: Accepts shipments and receives product by unloading and verifying material and certs.
Unloads vehicles, accepts deliveries, and unpacks containers.
Receives items in the ERP system by verifying identifying information, quantity, and condition of parts and supplies to be received.
Verifies parts and/or supplies received by inspecting the condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, and notes discrepancies.
Communicates to the buyer or end user if there is an issue and helps identify what correction is needed.
Operate forklift as needed to move materials around the warehouse.
Physical Limitations: Work may require bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds, some mathematical ability, and writing. This position requires experience with UPS, FedEx, and Export’s computerized system.
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
Minimum Years of Experience Required: Two (2) years in receiving preferred, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
