Responsibilities

  • Work from assembly drawings, blueprints, identify parts, and predetermined assembly sequence documentation with assistance and guidance
  • Perform assembly, fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swaging, adjusting, and inspection.
  • Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacement.
  • Perform Set-up of Equipment with assistance as required
  • Detect and correct faulty operation of controls. Test controls in special fixtures in accordance with drawing specifications.
  • Use a variety of hand operated machines and tools.
  • Use measuring gauges, scales, calipers, and dial indicators.
  • Keep Management appraised and report all non-conformance/unusual conditions to Production Tech and/or Supervisor.
  • Participate as a team member and work to continually improve all aspects of our business.
  • Work safely and adhere to all company policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Incumbent may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, have over 1 year and up to 2 years of experience in a hand assembly operation, with experience in micrometers, quality manufacturing operations. 
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. 
  • Soldering or brazing preferable.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to solve problems, Mechanical ability/aptitude.
  • Willingness to learn, work in a team and communicate effectively.
