Responsibilities

Triumph Actuation Products & Services Valencia designs, manufactures, assembles, and tests Hydraulic Actuation Components for the Aerospace Industry.
We provide landing gears sub-systems, flight control hydraulic valves, actuators, hydraulic reservoirs, and accumulators, as well as offer repair services.

Responsible for the manufacturing of both standard and complex tools and fixtures to support the development and enhancement of new and existing manufacturing parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities
• Builds, maintains, and repairs various manufacturing tools.
• Fabricate and assemble all types of fixtures/assembly tools from tool design or by reverse engineering.
• Use standard problem solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Set-ups and operates a variety of machines such as milling machines, lathes, surface grinders and EDM machines.
• Use scales, micrometers, dial indicators and fixed gages to check and gage work.
• Work with engineering and/or maintenance to resolve specific machine, tooling, setup problems that may arise.
• Read drawings, interpret dimensional tolerances and finish call outs as well as work from verbal directions.
• Provide technical support to Operations for continuous improvement of tools/fixtures to attain maximum efficiency in manufacturing and assembly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Good organizational and communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
Excellent math skills.
Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, lathes and EDM.
Ability to operate all toolroom machinery and equipment, mechanically inclined preferred.
A highly motivated self-starter that can push their project from inception all the way through to a complete finish.
A team player that can clearly and articulately communicate both with our team and our customer.
Ability to learn quickly, works reliably and accurately, and performs well.

Comp: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour.

Working Conditions:
Work may require sitting up to eight (8) hours per day, standing up to eight (8) hours per day. Work may require lifting of components weighing up to 50 lbs. Flexible work hours may be required.
