ABOUT BACTANA CORP.

Bactana is a socially impactful company formed as a collaboration between Cornell University, a renowned animal health scientist, and a successful life science entrepreneur.

We have patented the use of a select group of microbes that enhance the gut microbiome to improve farming efficiency and show great promise of treating metabolic diseases like diabetes in pets and potentially humans. Our lead technology manipulates the microbial ecology of animals to enhance the interaction of an animal’s microbiome with its immune system & metabolism (immunometabolism).

Bactana is seeking an enthusiastic intern with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team to help launch the world's product for companion animals derived from anaerobic bacterial extracts. Digital marketing and analysis will be an important aspect of this role. We value the unique individual who has interest in sales and marketing, and is excited by innovation and thinking outside the box. We believe in giving Interns significant responsibility, career development tools, and job enrichment opportunities to grow and blossom into future employees and thought leaders.

Bactana is a private development-stage company funded by Cornell University, Connecticut Innovations, Aimers Venture Partners, Sustainable Income LLC, and other private equity investors.
