JOB SUMMARY:

In this highly visible role as a Strategy Associate, you will sit at the core of our business at the crossroads of strategy, project management and analytics, working closely with Executives and to help develop business strategy, growth plans and drive execution. You will make meaningful and measurable improvements impacting an abundance of both internal and external clients and customers. You will lead key cross-functional projects across the business, collaboratively working with senior leaders, and be critically involved in strategic planning, problem solving, and making decisions impacting Covr's overall business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with Executives to lead the execution of key cross functional business initiatives, working efficiently across organization lines.
  • Manage Growth Initiative workstreams and run weekly project meetings to ensure activities stay on track.
  • Assist in developing, leading, and implementing strategic and operational initiatives to enhance revenue growth and / or improve operating margins.
  • Review and analyze financial and operating reports and participate in monthly forecasting
  • Communicate and present findings to Executives
  • Define and report on both key metrics and user data to measure the performance of our operations and inform data driven decision making.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
  • BA required; MA preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience at a consulting firm or a corporate strategy role in a financial institution.
  • Track record of using analytics to support decision-making, with the ability to dig deep into data and identify the right insights.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to independently identify and implement high-value analyses and projects.
  • Verbal and written communication and data modeling and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively communicate those to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and execution skills in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task without losing focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with routine, repetitive tasks
  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 with 5% bonus incentive
