Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Control employs approximately 500 people.  The Company’s key products and services include the design, development, certification, manufacture and repair of fuel pumps, fuel metering units, fuel controls, thermal systems and electronic engine control systems for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft servicing military, commercial, regional and business jet market segments.

 

We are looking for a skilled JD Edwards ERP Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining JD Edwards ERP applications, integrating them with other systems, and providing support to end-users. You will also work closely with business analysts to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Looking for someone proficient in JDE who is familiar with MRP, MPS, Manufacturing, SQL programming, Crystal Reports, Transform, Cyberquery and Global Software. 

Responsibilities

1.Develop and maintain JD Edwards ERP applications, including customizations and integrations with other systems
2.Work closely with business functions to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
3.Write and maintain technical documentation for all development work
4.Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to JD Edwards ERP applications
5.Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the quality of deliverables
6.Participate in the development of project plans and timelines
7.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members as needed
8.Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in JD Edwards ERP development
9.Knowledge of Transform application and how to modify
10.Knowledge of business system applications, processes, and process improvement 
11.Understand the business issues and workflow. Use this skill to support user/customer requests to improve internal systems through automation
12.Manage bulk merging of data to business systems
13.Manage testing, troubleshooting, and validating systems for quality assurance
14.Strong experience with SQL Database, SQL Query Analyzer
15.Strong knowledge and ability to support JDE products and the associated interfaced systems
16.Perform applicable audit control related activities such as SOX and ITGC reporting
17.Other various duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
•At least 3 years of experience developing in JD Edwards ERP applications
•Strong knowledge of JD Edwards ERP tools, including Object Management Workbench (OMW), Business Functions (BSFNs), and Report Design Aid (RDA)
•Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and SQL
•Experience with integration technologies such as EDI, XML, and Web Services
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•JD Edwards certification is a plus
•US Citizenship Required
