Responsibilities

Positions:

Machine Operator 1:  $16.06 - $22.67/Hour + 10% Shift Premium

Machine Operator 2:  $17.92 - $25.30/Hour + 10% Shift Premium

Machine Operator 3:  $21.06 - $29.74/Hour + 10% Shift Premium

 

Shifts:

2nd Shift:  Monday - Friday / 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift:  Sunday - Thursday / 10:00: PM - 6:30 AM

 

Summary

Independently performs a variety of complex precision machining operations utilizing CNC or manual-controlled machine tools to produce components to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating a CNC and manually controlled machines such as lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, gun drills, etc. to make aerospace parts to sketch.
  • Using a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments that monitor and verify drawing/work order requirements are being met

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field preferred.

Machine Operator 2

  • Three (3) years of experience running and setting up manually controlled machine tools; One (1) year of experience with multi-axis CNC machine tools.

Machine Operator 3

  • Seven (7) years of experience running and setting up manually controlled machine tools OR Five (5) years of experience with multi-axis CNC machine tools required.

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions.
