Responsibilities

Performance of machinist duties in compliance with company procedures
Familiarity with mechanical units and their operation.
Apply knowledge in practical manner using FAA approved data.
Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances for a finished product
Use precision measurement tools and equipment
Able to use basic hand tools
Consistently produce quality parts
Verifies conformance of finished work to manual or drawing specifications
Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly
Perform basic computer skills
Set up multiple types of jobs and fixtures
Performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration of aircraft components
Apply agency approved data as required:
CMM document number (ATA) and rev level;
Required AD’s and SB’s for components
Ensure work performed is in compliance with customer requirements and documented
Accurately detail maintenance activity when performed
Apply knowledge in practical manner using detailed procedures

Background in Aviation preferred but not required
High School Diploma or equivalent
