Responsibilities

  • Performance of NDT duties IAW NAS 410 and company procedures.
  • Remain current in 5-year test and certification requirements commiserate with existing level of

expertise and NDT techniques as conditions, materials, and standards change.

  • Maintain production area functionality, organization, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Apply knowledge in practical manner using detailed procedures.
  • NDT failure assessment and documentation.
  • Apply the agency approved data as it applies to component:
    • CMM document number (ATA) and rev level.

Required AD’s and SB’s as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Background in Aviation, extended vision requirements for position
  • Comprehension of non-destructive testing equipment functionality, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Basic understanding of metallurgy and materials incompatibilities for fluorescent and magnetic

particle testing.

  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable aviation and safety regulations, customer and

manufacturer requirements associated with component undergoing maintenance.

Willing to work Second Shift if necessary

  • Level II NDT Certification IAW NAS 410.
  • Part 65 Certified: Airframe/Power Plant (A&P) or Power Plant (P) preferred but not required

    Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions.
