Responsibilities

Participate in and/or conduct strategic assessment of business pursuits, proposals, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
* Review CA team’s analysis of contract terms and conditions and assist with resolution of specific contract issues.
* Participates and ensures compliance of Contract Review process which documents the customer’s order and contract flow-down requirements.
* Attend Program Management monthly program status review meetings to provide support to change management, claim development, and negotiation strategy and support.
* Performs management review of various contractually binding documents: MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), MOI (Memorandum of Intent), NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and PIA (Proprietary Information Agreement).
* Provides negotiation support to Contracts Legal, Business Development and Program Management as required.
* Supports Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance with regard to contract matters, regulatory issues, government contracting, and commercial contracting.
* Accountable for ensuring CA team’s ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate.

Provides CA disposition on contract review as necessary, which may include support of proposals, new business, Terms and Conditions, customer specifications, statements of work, and various documentation pertaining to adherence of quality and supply chain requirements.
* Maintains phone and written communication with customers relative to contract issues.
* Facilitates the flow down of key customer contract terms to the appropriate function and coordinates such flow down activity to mitigate risk and assure contract compliance for Government and Commercial business.
* Assist in developing, implementing and routine maintenance of standard processes and procedures relating to the contract administration function.
* Ensures that the obligations of the contract are fulfilled throughout the duration of the contract. Conducts routine review and response to customer contract demands in coordination with the Business Development, Contracts Legal and Program Management groups.
* Interpret contract language and consult with corporate legal as needed for matters requiring legal interpretation.
* Maintain custody and order of all contractual documents for CA department.
* Provides administration guidance to CA team for overhaul and repair contracts for a diverse range of domestic and international commercial and military customers.
* Oversees CA team’s compliance on order review, entry, acknowledgement, and amendments.
* Meet customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships, risk and cost control, and contribute to organizational profitability and success.
* Provides CA oversight and guidance for quotes/proposals in response to advance customer requests, RMAs, and units already at the production or repair stations.
* Supports and/or Leads monthly S&OP meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, and three to five years related aerospace Contract Administration experience.
* FAR/DFAR and government contracting experience required
* Strong preference to candidates with extensive/super-user JD Edwards (ERP System) experience
* Extremely polished written/verbal communication and customer service skills, strong business acumen and positive attitude required. Candidate will lead team by example.
* Fast-paced, multi-tasker with superior organization skills and closing skills required.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required – Excel Mastery is required.
